SENIOR TRAFFIC ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER
This
is a key position with Nevada By Design. To be selected the candidate must
have a minimum of 5 to 7-years experience in preparing various traffic
impact studies, mitigation letters, and reports. The candidate’s technical
writing skills must be above average. In addition, the candidate must
demonstrate the ability to work with the various state, county, and local
governmental agencies to secure approved plans and study reports and produce positive design results.
The person selected for
this position must meet the professional standards required of this position
and demonstrate their experience in supervising other engineering
professional and technical staff members. The
candidate must also demonstrate the ability to meet all schedules required to
deliver a finished product to the client. The successful candidate must
have working knowledge of the MUTCD, as well as State and local
traffic codes and standards for the various jurisdictions within Clark County,
Nevada.
The overall experience must include traffic impact and related traffic
engineering studies,
civil engineering designs
to include originating/preparing various studies/reports pertaining to
on/offsite civil design, a thorough knowledge of traffic and civil design
standards/practices. The traffic engineering designs must be integrated
with the civil engineering designs; therefore, the person selected for this
position will be responsible to work with both the client and the internal
design team to produce quality designs. This position requires registration
as a Professional Engineer in Nevada or has the ability to become registered
within 6 months of the hire date.
CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER
This
is a key position at Nevada By Design. The person selected for this
position must have the ability to work with the various governmental
agencies to secure approved plans and study reports in an effort to produce
positive design results. In addition the candidate must have experience in
supervising engineering professional and technical staff to meet the
standards and schedules required of this position. Therefore,
experience in civil engineering design to include originating/preparing
various studies/reports pertaining to on/offsite civil design, along with
thorough knowledge of design standards/practices is necessary. The person
selected should also have the ability and desire to work with both the
client and the internal design team to produce quality designs. Must be
registered as P.E. in Nevada or have the ability to become registered in 6
months of hire date.
CIVIL ENGINEER INTERN (EI) DESIGNER
Nevada
By Design is seeking an individual to fill a Civil Engineer Intern/Designer
position. The qualifications require a minimum of 2-years experience
as a Civil Engineer Intern or any combination of experience and education
equivalent to 3-years experience with an emphasis on civil engineering
design, including experience on hydrology studies and reports.
Experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance programs is a plus.
The candidate must have proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Release 2005.
Other requirements include thorough knowledge of local design standards and
practices pertaining to onsite and offsite design. This position also
requires registration in the State of Nevada as a Engineer Intern.
CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGNER
The qualifications include a
minimum of 3-years experience as a Civil Engineering Designer or any
combination of experience and education equivalent to 5-years experience
with an emphasis on civil engineering. Must have experience in Quality
Control/Quality Assurance programs and proficient knowledge of AutoCAD 2007.
Other requirements include thorough knowledge of local design standards and
practices pertaining to commercial and institutional on-site and off-site
design. This position is a responsible position working under the
supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer.
